Winter wonder

Thanks to ski legend Gustav Thöni, Trafoi is well known for winter sports. Did you know that your skiing holiday here can take you back in time? Far removed from the large ski resorts, here you can concentrate on what really matters. Of course, you’ll still find everything you could wish for: perfect ski slopes, modern lifts, traditional huts. But the familiar, nostalgic flair is hard to beat.

Our tips for skiers

  • Skiing lessons for slope conquerors of all ages in the compact, personal, and familiar Trafoi ski resort: four lifts, no waiting times, perfect slopes! Have your kids got over-excited and skied away from you? Don’t worry, the lift staff are sure to know where the little scamps are. In Trafoi ski resort, you always have everything in sight.
  • Watch your kids enjoy their first experiences on skis: The children’s lift (magic carpet) and the beginners’ slope are directly visible and reachable from Hotel Bella Vista, you can get there and back on foot.
  • From Stelvio Residence directly into the ski resort: The chairlift is right outside our door.
  • Skiing for adults in Sulden ski resort (while the little ones are well cared for during their ski lessons)

Trafoi ski resort

Where skiing is child’s play

The skiing stars of tomorrow are practising here today. Straightforward slopes, professional ski schools, and rustic huts await you, as does a practice slope and a beginners’ lift – which just so happens to be right in front of our sun terrace. While your little ones are learning from their ski instructor, you can admire the view of Ortles/Ortler.

Sulden ski resort

For all levels

Over 45km of slopes, ranging from easy to challenging, situated between 1,900 and 3,250 metres above sea level, make Sulden an Alpine skiing mecca. Here in Reinhold Messner’s second home, you’ll find it all: fun park, groomed slopes, and romantic huts. And King Ortles/Ortler, who towers over this impressive scene, visible from afar.
